The LC-1441 Restraint Cage is specifically designed for the largest, strongest primates used in the laboratory. Its all-welded construction assures complete security for handlers and investigators. Broad, comfortable polypropylene resting boards, free ventilation and unobstructed interior lighting and visibility assures comfort of the caged animal. Used in conjunction with the LC-1415 restraint cage, dangerous animals can be handled with safety.

Features of the stable stance carriage on our cages minimizes need for tie-downs or other cage restraining devices, even with large primates. Cages "Stay Put" on uneven floors. Hyperactive animals cannot play "demolition Derby" with cages. Cages can move only one-way: Backwards. Cage has greater resistance to tipping. Carriage system replaces casters on the cage and thus eliminates special lubrication and replacement problems common with casters. Sealed bearing wheels on separate "T-Bar" dolly need no lubrication.

Stainless steel complete with Featherbed Floor and stainless steel excreta pan. Mounted on 5" chrome plated casters with brakes, grease fittings, and gray non-marking tires. Unit has front panel with two (2) swinging doors, side panels with guillotine doors, back panel and top panel too. Front, back, sides, and top are all enclosed with 1" mesh x 1/8" diameter triple crimped woven wire.
