The BREC's Ruminant series are specifically designed for transporting sheep and other species which are potentially carriers of Q-fever, through conventional animal housing facilities and research laboratory areas. The transport carts are not designed for long-term holding; the entire unit is sealed, with the exception of a large opening (16" x 16") on top, which is covered with Remay sheet filter material. The units are available with all aluminum (TC01821-A) or, all stainless steel TC-1821-S construction.
